costa rica,
can’t get you out of my head. digging my toes in the sand, the waves crashing on the beach 50 feet away from us, the warmth of the sun on our skin that gave us a nice color, ziplining in the costa rican rainforest and jumping in a waterfall with all our clothes, seeing more stars in the sky than I’ve ever seen, on acid with my best friend. reuniting with an old friend who I hadn’t seen in years and meeting my aunt. my mom surprising me back in san jose. trying to keep each other cold with ice from a nice vendor. the three hour bus ride back from Quepos - with my new cr purple sarong, my feet up, listening to music, eating mango, with the breeze blowing in through the open bus windows. the views, the greenery, the ocean. it was so simple but it felt so incredibly satisfying and I’ll never forget that moment. it was quite the beginning to a beautiful trip.
